In 1994, Lori and Paul Hogan founded Home Instead Senior Care®, an international company of independently owned and operated franchises, to provide non-medical care for seniors.  As a means to further enhance the lives of older adults, going above and beyond the scope of this organization, The Home Instead Senior Care Foundation was founded in 2003.

A major goal of this non-profit foundation is to provide the financial support of activities designed to improve the quality of life for seniors.  Such opportunities may include research and development, education, scholarships, and/or advocacy for the health and well being of older adults.  Other programs might be designed to reduce the isolation experienced by so many seniors and promote community inclusion.

Leadership Path
The Home Instead Senior Care Foundation's focus and objective is to enhance the lives of older adults. Its Board of Directors and Executive Members are chosen for their genuine commitment to seniors. They guide The Foundation’s priorities, application and review processes, giving methods, fund-raising structure and ethical standards. Other Board responsibilities include long-range planning and organizational structure.
