Alzheimer's Family Services Center, Huntington Beach, CA - The Alzheimer's Family Services Center's "Early Memory-Loss Services" are designed to provide families with guidance and the emotional support to develop a plan of care, and to access community services to sustain them through the "journey" involved in dealing with dementia. The agency's early-stage adult-day healthcare program -- which is unique in Orange County -- provides therapeutic activities, cognitive classes, reminiscences and excursions.  This Foundation grant will support Early Memory-Loss Services that help families caregivers keep their loved ones at home for as long as possible.
